SUNDAY SERVICES
At Peakland Baptist Church, Sunday mornings are a time to gather, reflect, and rejoice in God’s love. Our worship service begins at 11:00 am, blending traditional liturgy with progressive thought and theology. See our summer Sunday service schedule here. SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE
First Sundays
July 6, August 3
11:00 am
The service will be in our sanctuary, where we will share communion.
Middle Sundays
June 22, July 13 & 20, August 10, 17 & 24
11:00 am
In our parlor, with snacks and drinks provided, and will be led discussions on the theologies of Jesus and Paul. We will explore where they share ideas and where they differ in their theologies. We'll also discuss what it looks like to prioritize one over the other.
Last Sundays
June 29, July 27, August 31
7:00 pm
We will offer Vespers services at 7pm, with no morning worship. Our peace Vespers Services will use a Taizé style of worship and will feature our friend Susan Carol, harpist, playing music for meditation.
