At Peakland Baptist Church, we believe everyone has gifts to share. Whether you enjoy working behind the scenes, caring for people, planning events, or tending to practical needs, there’s a place for you to get involved.
Our ministry teams help shape the life of the church—and they depend on people like you. Explore the teams below and consider where your interests and talents might be a good fit.
Spiritual Formation Team
Supports the spiritual growth and learning of all ages. This team recommends resources and staff for youth and adult education, maintains the church library, and collaborates on worship planning, themes, and special services.
Facilities Team
Ensures the church building, grounds, and equipment are safe, functional, and welcoming. From basic maintenance to long-term planning, this team cares for the physical space where we gather.
Missions Team
Leads our outreach efforts by identifying needs in the community, coordinating mission partnerships, and supporting local and global initiatives. This team helps us live out our call to serve.
Personnel Team
Develops and maintains clear, supportive policies for paid staff members, including job descriptions and evaluation processes. This team helps ensure our staff is well-equipped and well-supported.
Finance Team
Provides oversight of the church’s financial health and encourages stewardship of time, talent, and treasure. This team prepares the annual budget and supports transparency and accountability.
Peakland Connects Team
Nurtures community life within the church through hospitality, fellowship events, and pastoral care. This team helps members feel seen, supported, and connected.
